Easy Rupees in Zelda Virtual Console

Create a restore point after entering but before playing the money making game. when you pick a rupee, the potential gambling results will be revealed. If you're not a winner (or didn't win big), load your restore point and pick the right one! it will not change.

just a shame you can't have more than 255 rupees.

So in other words, use the 'official' equivalent to save states.

I have to say though, is this really a tip? It's basically the same as the old 'cheat' of 'save next to a rare Pokemon, reset the game every time you fail to catch it'. Or the same thing which applies to just about every game in history with a quick save system. Or everything ever played on an emulator in history.
