Square Enix revealed a new trailer for it and developer WFS' (Wright Flyer Studio) Seiken Densetsu: Echoes of Mana smartphone game for the Mana/Seiken Densetsu role-playing game series during its Tokyo Game Show 2021 presentation on Friday. The video reveals that the action RPG will launch worldwide in spring 2022.

The game will be available in Japanese, English, German, French, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.

The free-to-play game (with in-game item purchases) will include characters from the first four games in the series. The game will let players choose between the male protagonist Kiruto (voiced by Kōtarō Nishiyama) or the female protagonist Kirute (voiced by Hikaru Tohno). The player will travel to lost worlds to restore them, including worlds from the game series as well as original worlds.

Echoes of Mana looks like a nice RPG game. I like the anime-style graphics in this game.

The interesting part of it, its simply being compatible with smart phones. At least its admirers can run the game via their smart phones instead of spending much getting the hard disc or downloading it.

Animation Trailer:

On May 15th, 2023, the official Echoes of Mana Twitter account officially declared that the game had been shut down. They apologized for the premature ending and thanked players for partaking in the adventure with a painting of Mousseline, one of the game's many unlockable playable characters. The tweet also included a link to the Square Enix Bridge site, reminding players of the original shutdown announcement (alongside the announcement of one last spirit crystal sale) back on February 13th. Despite the game garnering similar ratings to the Secret of Mana mobile port, the team decided to axe it because of difficulty keeping the servers up, describing the choice as difficult.

There's always a beginning and the end of everything. Once it's very difficult to keep any game's servers up, it's most likely going to see it end!
