According to the latest Australian issue of ONM and various websites, Epic Mickey 2: The power of 2 is actually Co-Op.
So everyone's used to having one hero with another, like a sidekick sort of thing - Crash and Coco, Spyro and Sparx, Mario and Luigi, Sonic and Tails... Well, we can add another combination to the list.
Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit have teamed up, making the game Co-Op. Oswald uses some sort of controller with a button on it, whilst Mickey still uses the paintbrush.
In other news on the game, it's not just coming out on the Wii this time - Xbox 360 and PS3 (Move) are also available. It's also been said that the 'Playstyle Matters' stuff, like choosing Paint or Thinner to restore the world, will be making a return, and there will be more things in the game that follow it. Unlike the previous game, where several characters spoke at all, this game features full voice acting - and that includes a voice for Oswald, who hasn't had a voice before.
Fans of the previous game are hoping that several camera issues, as well as the vast number of simplistic side-quests, are resolved in this game.
This game looks like it just might be able to beat the first. And now, one game has turned into a series, not to mention bringing back an older style of Mickey that's a little bit more mischievous then the current one.
A scheduled release for Octoebr this year is the plan. So, let's hope they don't bring that forward, I need to get playing the first game again, since I haven't cleared it yet.
