a live-action series adaptation of the young-adult fantasy novel Eragon is currently in early development at Disney+. The show will be based on the novel series written by Christopher Paolini, titled The Inheritance Cycle, which consisted of four books. Eragon is the first book in the series.

Paolini will serve as a co-writer and co-showrunner on the upcoming series, with Bert Salke set to executive produce under his Co-Lab 21 banner. 20th Television will produce.
 
Good to know they are continuing the series in show form, but I was unaware Disney was behind them and I haven't watched them before.
 
Me personally, I have never read the books or watched the movie. It must be really popular though if it's being made live action.
 
I remember hearing news stories that Eragon's book is very popular. I hope the live action would be entertaining to watch.
