This is freaking pathetic. You can't afford to pay people to play games at a tournament level, so you run an illegal gambling operation to pay for it out of the pockets of your audience?
Isn't that kind of messed up? And maybe telling you that this 'eSports' thing isn't quite as good an idea as you thought it was?
If this is sustaining eSports, then something is clearly wrong with the industry.

I think a lot of eSports teams own skin gambling sites and therefore funnel that money to pay their players, increasing average salary across the industry. Unless you can match that with your own revenue, or maybe VC money, then your team is done
