Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard will be remade and updated for Nintendo 3DS.
Atlus has unveiled (roughly translated) Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of Fafnir, coming out later this year in Japan. The 3DS remake looks to follow the lead of Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, which updated the first game in the franchise as well as added expanded scenes and voice acting.
Atlus USA told IGN that that there was "nothing to announce for the United States" regarding the Etrian Odyssey II remake at this time. In the meantime, be sure to check out IGN's review of the original Etrian Odyssey II, which we thought was great.
