Even MORE PS3 40Gig Evidence

The evidence of a $399, 40GB PlayStation 3 is piling up. Today's clues:

* Best Buy stock listings showing the new hard disk drive equipped model packed with a copy of Spider-man 3with an in-stock date of October 28th.
* European retailer Play is now soliciting interest on its web site for the PS3 40GB model, aka the CECHG01. Supposedly, console has only 2 USB ports and is incompatible with PlayStation 2 games.
* TheFeed's Mdalonzo is a psychic, and he's, like, totally sure it's going to happen.

It's quacking like a duck, but let us remind you, the duckness is not official.

They really need to stop making other versions of the PS3 and worry about selling the ones that are sitting on the store shelves. Instead of worrying about producing new ones...why not drop the price a bit on the current ones.
