Have you ever got permanently banned for a year or so just for not a big reason? If you answered yes your on the right thread I got banned once for a year because a staff member found my grammar wrong and removed my post when I asked why they banned. Recently I got banned on RL Friend forum for asking staff as he told me he would make one and there was no rule that says you can't ask to be staff

Nope so far.

If I post a really hot PLOT pic that's too hot for Mr. Demon to handle, am I going to be banned here? lol

I wouldn’t say I got banned for no reason, but I have been banned for petty reasons.

I joined a forum I didn’t realize was a very toxic environment. Basically almost all of the users were rejects who got banned off a massive forum, and they initially made a haven forum for all the banned members.

Well turns out they all hated each other and constantly get banned off that forum, make another forum, then ban everyone, and rinse and repeat.

Anyway, I joined on what seems like the 15th iteration, and the admin banned me because I banned him off my forum, because he joined just to start shit, and he internet stalked me for like 3 years.

Only once...
That's like a black spot in my entire online career
Even now, I don't know the reason and I have never cursed or never did anything against the rules
:(

Anyway, it's this forum :

The community seem a bit toxic I do see it

To be honest, I just wanted an explanation...
I have never been banned before and I always stick to the rules. So this threw me off balance and I was embarrassed by it
That happened to me as well recently I understand your feeling.

I got a warning once because I said things were different in the 90'.
Seems that triggered some people.

I've never been banned, but I've gotten some warnings for stupid stuff. Like years ago I got a warning because my punctuation use was not perfect. And I think I missed a capital in my post. Got warned for "English abuse". Mentioned it happening to a friend and they relayed the story to someone else. That other person decided to take shots at the community and that moderator specifically. Picked his posts apart and showed every single mistake he made. I ended up getting warned a second time for duplicate accounts. Because someone dared to defend me they thought that I had created a duplicate account to respond. It wasn't until I piped up and said "Check the IPs before just outright saying it's me" that they looked and realised it wasn't me.

Since then I've been on numerous communities and never been banned. Got close a few times because I didn't share some of their views. But because I was typically very polite in how I went about disagreeing they couldn't really get me on anything. Which I'm sure made them froth at the mouth all the more.

I got the same English warning the first time I got banned on a Forum or issue if I was on the staff team. Prior to that, they removed me when I asked why ''just because my grammar is bad you are removing me off the team'' when I questioned them I got banned for a year. Funny thing this happened 2 years and now the forum is closed for good lol.

I have have a couple hundred bans since 1996.

I'm banned from psn profiles.
There was a conversation regarding making games to be more opened to transgender friendly.
I forget what I said but it was something to do with "Cause it would really suck...... No pun intended".

I used to have a clan way back in the mid 90s for "C&C renegade and we "went to digital war" against a big dog clan called Renstation. They had 10,000 members and 60 clans all with their own forums and a wack load banned me.
After the clan was gone it felt like the entire world stopped gaming and started creating invisionfree forums. We used to fight with each other like crazy.

I went into business online and got in a dispute with the famous Shaun Hogan(one who stole 40million+ from ebay) of digitilpoint. Practically everyone in his circle banned me in all of the affiliate business forums. Shaun is a real teabag.

It's been several years since my last ban.

I feel like I've been to that site...
