Agree, love, respect, and mutual empathy.

A sense of security and the ability to see the goodwill in those around you. If you can't eat then the need higher than that can't be met.

Besides the obvious thing (loving your partner), the one thing it needs is communication. The relationship will fall apart quickly if you don't communicate.
I see more relationships end because of this than anything else.
