We've known that the PlayStation Vita would have 512 MB of memory for a while, but with every Vita game coming in a downloadable form, we knew there'd have to be a way to expand it. Today, Sony shed light on just how that's going to happen.
The PlayStation Vita will have a slot for games that come on PlayStation Vita cards, but it will also have a memory card slot to expand the system's memory. Sony's official list of peripherals for the Japanese release of the Vita include the following cards at the following prices: 4GB for 2,200 Yen, 8GB for 3,200 Yen, 16GB for 5,500 Yen, and 32GB for 9,500 Yen.
The list went on to add an AC plug, USB cable, cradle, in-ear headset, protective film, card case, case for the Vita, three kinds of pouches, a car plug and a portable charger.
