Just bought the GOG version, it's great so far combat and story. Recorded begining story and gameplay stuff will upload later...

Battle is fun but really really hard on insane difficulty, the difficulty level I picked. lol
 
Looks pretty cool. Never thought a boat going the Y-axis and possibly 1 map would make for a good game but it's a start and it definitely has some polish in the design.

Well it's not an AAA Srpg game but it's fun and deep tactical rpg stuff with permanent death plus the game got 7 possible endings based on what you do and dialogue options you picked and waifu options including optional companions lol

Well it's not just ship combat later on, plenty of good maps for your conquest later on. And Character voices are great too. saw this video too:
 
Recorded more story and gameplay. Introduction of the first PLOT-able waifu, Julia, disguised as "Julius" and some nightime combat:
 
Recorded more night time infiltration mission, destroying greek ships with greek fire bombs:
 
Recorded nice ambush battle and untimely death of young Julius "Gaius" Caesar at the beginning of the battle:

Took 5 years game time for MC to PLOT Julia lol and it looks like it's possible to have a triangle with queen Cleopatra since Julius Caesar is dead and they never met lmao, recorded it:
 
I hope the dev will be able to make full AAA rpg games next, they got the abilty to create fun rpg like old days bioware. Like Larian finally doing full AAA rpg game, moving away from isometric AA rpgs with full "cinematic view" and motion capture during dialog choices and cutscenes now with Baldur's Gate III.

It might take some time and thought on what they would like to add to the RPG market.

Or they could just do another expeditions game and/or upgrade the Rome and Vikings games with AAA graphic stuff. Coz the rpg stuff in it is already great.
