Fairy Tail Anime Ending

ANN confirmed that Kodansha's TV Magazine announced on Friday that the Fairy Tail anime's television broadcast run will end on March 30. The adaptation of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail fantasy adventure manga premiered on Japan's TV Tokyo station in October 2009.

The April issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is revealing on Monday that the Driland anime will begin a new run in Fairy Tail's current Saturday 10:30 a.m. timeslot on April 6.

However, Mashima posted a statement to fans on his official Twitter feed on Saturday:

Until the time comes, I cannot say something I've always wanted to say, even on Twitter. Please be patient and wait until the time comes for me to announce some good news.

I assume you read the manga mori, is there a large time skip or something that changes everything?

I don't read the manga, but from what I've seen of the current arc of the anime a huge tragedy is going to occur. And I really don't think they would end the anime on a tragedy.

Wow, first Bleach and now fairytail.

Does anyone know the reason?

Because with Bleach I heard it was the fact that the anime was so close to the anime and the anime team not wanting to do more fillers

But I'm pretty sure Bleach will return once the manga ends.

Its FAR to popular not to.

Bleach ended for two reasons,

one it was too close to the manga and two it's because the anime was losing ratings and really dipping low in the red.

and no reason yet for the fairy tail anime.

Oh yes I knew the first one, sorry for my mistype from earlier lol.

But did not know of the second one, didn't know it was losing ratings but that could have been contributed to the Fullbringer arc that wasn't that well received by fans.

Honestly I don't mind Fairy Tail ending as long as we get to see Natsu vs. Sting
But yeah I doubt its gonna end.

manga is quicker to read, but since the anime covers several chapters it's up in the air on whats faster.

they bother me if there is some complicated discussion going on or if there is a battle going on that I rather be watching the whole time.

Anyways, I hear the anime is going on hiatus to allow the manga to gain some distance from the anime. Much like bleach is doing.

Not a slow reader, I just don't like having to read and watch at the same time. Plus, I watch shows while I play games. Can't do all 3 at the same time.
