A couple of month ago, some troll made a special web page with a countdown and a message about fallout 4. This turned out to be someone thinking he was funny. Now however, does anyone know anything about fallout 4 being in development?
Anywone has any heads up? If not: Where do you hope Fallout 4 will take place? Again in the Mojave wasteland or in Boston? Maybe New York?

Tell it here!

I seen that website, I heard the guy spent $10k on it. Bethesda is very tight lipped, they dont ever talk about what they are working on until its a few months before release. I am 1000% sure that they are working on Fallout 4. Fallout was a huge money maker for them, there not going to stop making Fallout games.

P.S. I think a New York setting could be fun, i bet walking through the old subways would be a blast!

Heck yeah. And some sort of cult or something in Rockefeller towers, or maybe that's just became a big military base.
Hopefully they use a tweaked engine to make Fallout 4 though, because Fallout NV was too much like 3 in my opinion.

The only thing Fallout New Vegas was is a quick cash grab. They used the same models, textures and music as Fallout 3. I was never more disappointed in a video game. Matter of fact I totally forgot about the game until you brought it up lol. I have about 30hrs in Fallout New Vegas and about 400 hours in Fallout 3.

well it was MIA at E3, so I'm guessing there is nothing right now.

I remember being a huge fan of fallout 3, I got it the first Christmas after it got out. I played and played. At one point I read somewhere: "A new fallout came out". As I started New Vegas, I was quite enthusiast. I'm dutch, and I had been to the same area a year before it came out. I saw a lot and enjoyed Nevada and Las Vegas (even though I enjoyed Cali more). So when I started, the atmosphere, surroundings etc. didn't impress me. Something new was done with the light, but I don't remember anything special. Characters seemed the same and same interface.

I'm not going to review Fallout NV here but it's just: I was really disappointed. It felt like a huge mod or a huge DLC of Fallout 3.

A New York setting would be totally fun, just imagine walking through old collapsed buildings, it will be quite an experience.
Imagine times square was a battlefield with super Mutants vs Brotherhood of Steel or something. This continuous fighting between SM and BoS gave fallout 3 a great feeling with danger but also safety. Hope we'll see that back.

I hate that when that happens.   I have two games that I got trolled on in that way.

Manhunt.  I LOVED the 2 manhunt games.  Manhunt was one of the greatest games every created.   I was doing a search for more info, and game upon one of those FAKE trailers for Manhunt 3.  Before My fingers could cool, I was posting links to facebook, forums, all about the great discovery I had found.   Then?  about 10 minutes of additional research, I found out I was faked out.

Very sad.  Very angry...Very disappointed.

The next one, was Katamari Damacy.   Even if you are a hard core gamer, please try this game.  I know it looks silly, but rolling up things has this strange addiction to it.   Well, I did a search on the future of this game, and was led to one of those silly rumors...again, falling for it and searching for more information.

I am playing fallout 3 now, and am at level 9.   Really enjoying this game.  I love open world games.

It's all been a little quiet at the Fallout 4 rumour mill since late last year, and Bethesda still hasn't announced it is working on a Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas follow-up yet.
In fact, there's been some new information to suggest that Bethesda may not even be the developer working on the next Fallout title.

Although there’s no word yet from Bethesda, I expect Fallout 4 will be a next-gen Xbox One and PS4 title launching the tail end of 2014 or early 2015, maybe even 2016.
Of course, this is just speculation on my part, as there's been no official confirmation the game is even in development yet.

I expect a new Fallout title to come in the next 2-3 years and be amazing on the nextgen.
Fallout 3 was amazing and everyone really wants a new fallout title to take on the power of the next gen.
