I have been playing board games for over fifty years and it’s what my family has always done together. We are a huge board game family and we play all types of games.
We would play Yahtzee, Parcheesi and Sorry! I loved playing games with my parents and sister, but I'll admit I'm a really bad sore loser and I used to fling the pieces if I lost lol. I don't do that anymore though.
We never really did a lot of family game nights when I was growing up, but I remember playing a lot of Monopoly and Yahtzee with my parents when I was younger. My mom also taught me a few different card games when I was a kid, like Go Fish and Gin Rummy, but I haven't played either in years. My dad used to play a lot of Solitaire when I was growing up, and I'd watch him play on occasion. I mostly played that on my computer or my phone, but as I've gotten older, I've occasionally played with a physical deck of cards too.
