Anderson and his family, like many involved, got a lot of money thanks to some smart investments during the GameStop stock episode. For those unfamiliar, some time ago GameStop's stock price climbed when several online experts decided to artificially inflate it. This was done in an effort to foil a hedge fund banking on GameStop's failure, but its consequences were far-reaching. One of those consequences was Anderson and his wife making a huge donation to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in the name of them and their two-year old son. This was possible because they got out before GameStop started losing money again.

The donation in question was not money, but rather $15,000 worth of games and consoles. This included a large number of Switch and Switch Lite consoles, alongside some Amazon Fire tablets for kids. They even threw in extra controllers for the consoles, as well as over 110 games, all so that kids would have a good distraction while stuck inside a hospital. As a kicker, all of this was purchased from GameStop, with Anderson giving back to the company that made him a bundle and doing so to help a good cause.

Gamestop isn't really a bad store, it just has some competition for their bigger products and items. So nice of them.

It is nice of Anderson and his family donating $15,000 worth of Switch and Switch Lite consoles, and Amazon Fire tablets for kids staying at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.

Amazing because I'm sure the kids will love the consoles when they're getting treated. A nice little distraction during a tough period for them.

Gamestop stores can be a fun and amazing place, gamestop as a company is a dumpster fire that gets worse by the day sadly.

That's amazing. I'm sure the kids are so grateful! I wonder if that particular donation was motivated by personal reasons like did they have care from Manning Children's Hospital in the past or something. What an awesome way to give back!

Truly, shame it couldn't be spread to more hospitals.

I don't know if I'd ever be in position to do something generous like that but hopefully I can some time down the line to give back. Life and people in it have been good to me over the years - my intent is to pay it forward.

That's shows spirit of benevolence from Anderson and Family as they donated to the children in need. Is a fortunate one he pulled off his investment when GameStop's stock never depreciated which helped raise funds for charity donation.
