Usually for Christmas gamers tend to get video games as gifts, so in previous Christmas times, what was your most favorite game you got as a christmas gift?

Uhhh back when I was like 6-7 I think I had gotten a Gameboy advance Sp for Christmas.

Nice. I had gotten this then the other gameboy I forgetten the other one which got released after advance sp let me google it lol
 
My first ps1 back in 1997. Had mostly clothes for birthday/christmas when I was a kid. Until that year, it threw me off. It was bundled with 'croc: legend of the gobbos', and the ps1 was dualshock. It was an amazing present! haha

Another story was a few months (after graduating from high school), I was able to get myself a ps3. It was from a local game store; they had the option of letting you purchase a refurbished bundle which included 3 used games. two of them were racing games, and Yakuza 3. It was an awesome gift to myself, after saving money to get a console that I really wanted
 
I was slightly late in getting a Xbox 360 so when I did get it eventually, I got a copy of GTA IV. That's still my favourite GTA title so that has to be my favourite game present
 
I miss the old days when consoles used to have memory cards. And when you had people sleeping over, they would bring in their own memory cards to show their save data... haha, those were the good old days.

We tried something like that with modern consoles, hooking up an HDD to another PS4, did not go well.

no way! hahah! that requires a lot of reformatting, and... most data wont stay intact when inserted into another unit... oh man, I can only imagine it now hahaha

ohh I see now. Man I was thinking the whole difficult way. Yeah... thats the only thing I dont like about digital downloads.. it can be convenient though. Without need to insert a disc
 
Kid Icarus Uprising was my more memorable gift the year it came out on Christmas. I got to Pandora and all by the time I finished playing for the day and stylus aiming blew my mind back in the day.
