I always hear talk about people choosing, for example, World at War out of all the Call of Duty games, and bashing on others that suck. So I'm curious to see which game in the series prevails. I mean, in my opinion, Modern Warfare 3 isn't that bad. Sure, there are a lot of campers. But it's still pretty fun to me! Besides naming your favorites, put up a good debate as to why you think so! Lets make this interesting, guys!  WOO!

Modern Warfare 2 was by far the best 2nd goes to cod4 or WAW, black ops 1 and 2 were ok but ghosts wasn't that good. I find that those that haven't played the old cods don't know what they are missing out on and think the newer ones are "amazing". Modern Warfare was alright.

My favorite version of Call of Duty is Call Of Duty Modern Warfare, otherwise known a COD4. I played it on the PS3 first and I was in a hard core PS3 gaming clan. We would always go in rooms and take them over and have clan battles. And then when I got my gaming PC I played it for awhile on my gaming PC. I put more hours in COD4 then any other version.

I would have to say, COD: World at War. It was the last one that I really really got into. These days, they feel like reskins of the last iteration.

I've definitely gotta say that COD 4 was my favorite of the games. It probably helps that it was the first one that implemented the traditional COD gameplay that we're used to now, and it was just awesome. I put in so many hours on that game, and it's actually the only one I maxed out my level on too.

I started playing Cod on WaW when MW2 was about to be released.
I had the most fun and played MW2 the longest of any call of duty game I've owned. I stayed for the multiplayer, still playing it after many years. It's a shame to see the multiplayer community isn't as thriving as it used to be.
However the first black ops is a close second with it's incredible campaign and having my favorite zombies map of all time (ascension).

I really liked Black ops 2, such a good game!
Most balanced game out the series for me and league play made me love the game more!
Treyarch are normally really good at winning me over with their games and they did with this one.

I've had the most fun on MW2 for sure, when it came out I'd play it like 24/7 with a bunch of friends. We'd just mess around and quickscope and stuff, but it was definitely more enjoyable than any of the newer Call of Duty games.

I honestly love playing online multiplayer mode of COD Black Ops. I also enjoy World at War, but dealing with cheaters does get annoying pretty fast. The historic authenticity of the weapons used in the game are one of the key aspects of my admiration for the games.

I played all the games myself and from the start I really enjoyed them. World at War was a game I did enjoy but once Black Ops and Black Ops 2 were released they both became my favourites. Black Ops 1 wins hands down for me though as I felt I enjoyed gaming on that one a lot more than I did any others. Ghosts I have hardly bothered with and didn't really like.

Black Ops 2 - If you stay still too long, your a$$ is going to pop up on the radar and you better prepare for a raping lol. In MW3, you can stay in one spot for hours and camp. The dumb campers in Black Ops 2 are going to get wrecked if they don't know how to camp in the game.

Ghost isn't bad. I like that people can camp in the grass. They just get a stylish death, that is all  : P

I like all of the games by Treyarch personally, with BO1 possibly been my overall favorite. I don't mind any of the rest at all really apart from Ghosts which I am a little bit disappointed with.
