I think Mega Man needs a little love since we all know Capcom won't make another Mega Man game so I want to know what your favorite Mega Man series and why. I've included what I believe is all of them and this is excluding fan games like Mega Man vs. Street Fighter. I've also put Battle Network and Star Force together since, if I can recall, they are part of the same series. I also added Mega Man Zero only because well it's my favorite and I'll tell you why.

So about 3 years ago I went out with my friends to well the place isn't important, but it's an indoor place where they have an arcade, go karts, and things like that and on our way back we went to GameStop. My friend was buying a game and I didn't have the money to buy a game so my other friend we went with said she would buy me a game, which was really random, and I said no, but she insisted. So after looking around I found the Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS and I heard a lot of good things about Mega Man up to that point so I wanted that. In fact when I looked up the game, the game came out four days before I went so I lucked out.

Long story short I played all four games and I loved it to death. Of course never playing Mega Man X I understood very little about the plot because I didn't realize that it was a direct spin off to Mega Man X. I also need to get Mega Man ZX too, but that still won't be for a while.

Close second is Mega Man Classic though because I got the Anniversary collection like a year or two ago and it's great and all, but I still love Zero more.

So what's your favorite Mega Man Series?

X without a doubt, just because it's the first ones I ever played and classic just doesn't fill the need as much as X.

I love each and every one of them. Also you forgot to add the ZX series...which technically still counts as the "Zero" timeline but still. I spent most of my time on the Battle Network/Starforce series but if I were to choose I'd pick the X series for it's amazing game play and characters.

Thank you I thought I forgot something.

I remember the second game I played was Battle Network Blue Moon or something like that and the BN games are fun, but I haven't actually beat one. It gets really intense and then I lose interest.

Also I want to play the X games, but I've heard they're terrible compared to the original so I'm surprised it's getting some love.

The X series is awesome except for X3 , X6 and X7 you should really try to get some of the games.
