What is your most favorite platformer game you've ever played?

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is my all time favorite platformer. I love everything about the game, from the new sprites to the music and huge level layouts. Also the shield gimmicks are cool, and it introduced Knuckles to the franchise too.

I have a few, Super Mario World, Shanate series, Megaman, Shovel Knight, Sly cooper series and the Crash series is at the top for me.
