I've gotten bored of the generic, ad-ridden rubbish that is South African tv and YouTube has been a great alternative so far. I've never really used YouTube for content viewing other than the occasional funny cat videos until a few months ago and I must say, its a lot more enjoyable than television for me.
My favorite Youtuber is probably LeafyIsHere, he does "reaction videos" of sorts, but not those where its just an idiot sitting on the side of the screen and laughing when something happens, he has gameplay in the background and makes funny, educated comments on some of the most ridiculous videos on YouTube.
Pyrocynical: Similar to Leafy, but he does gameplay and all sorts of other funny content.
PewDiePie: I know a lot of 12 year olds stuck in 2012 think hes a "faggot" but I really enjoy his content and when YouTube becomes a full time job, in Felix's case, you become really good at it. He doesn't have 45 million + subscribers for nothing.
Marques Brownlee (MKBHD): Making the most quality tech videos on the internet!
Jonathan Morrisson and Austin Evans: Part of MKBHD's squad of quality tech reviewers.
TheRadBrad: Although I don't watch all his videos, I watch the series of games that I like such as Quantum Break as of late, he's a humble guy and its nice watching someone who is naturally good at gaming from the start so its not frustrating to watch him play through a whole series.
Occasional others:
SSSniperwolf: 99% of her fanbase are Indian tech support kids with no lives that make pathetic comments, yes, but I do enjoy some of her videos.
Vsauce: Interesting, educated and thought provoking content.
Lemmino: Does Top 10 videos, but they are well made and informative, unlike those clickbait Top 10's that are voiced by bots and are utter rubbish.
