Any Xbox fans worried that Square Enix's first, real Final Fantasy adventure on the console will be downgraded due to the lack of DVD disc space or for any other reason should do so no longer.

Producer Yoshinori Kitase tells Videogamer that even though the developer is completing the Playstation 3 version first, they plan to fully transfer the game over onto 360 completely.

"The team is targeting to create an equal experience on both the 360 and the PS3, so there are no limitations," said Kitase. "For example, right now we're working on the PS3 version first, and once we've completed that we'll really know how much game there will be to fit onto the Xbox 360 discs.

Kitase also claims Square Enix will not remove any content, even if it means the game shipping on multiple discs.

"So we don't know how many discs it'll be housed on for 360, but there won't be a chance that we'll compromise anything because, 'oh it didn't fit in the 360 discs so we'll have to take it out of the PS3 version', or vice versa."

FF 13 should only be on the PS3.

I agree with that. Final Fantasy is like Sony and Nintendo ONLY. Final Fantasy 11 only came for it cause it was a MMORPG (probably).

And if the PS3 version is already finished, they should release that first.

Microsoft is paying per game to get them to come over to X360. X360 will get one or two games and then games will be non-existent on the platform for awhile unless they sell enough to capture Square-Enix's eye or Microsoft throws more money at them.
