The Blu-Ray version of Sony Pictures' Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will be out on June 2nd. It will cost you $38.96. And along with the movie and many extra features, it will contain "an exclusive first-look at the Final Fantasy XIII video game!" That's enough of a reason to fork over $40 right there!

This version may be considered the one true Advent Children, as it is the director's cut from Tetsuya Nomura, and contains 26 minutes of additional footage and over 1000 revised scenes, plus the whole flick has been re-rendered in high definition.

Along with the re-tooled movie, the Blu-ray release will include “On the Way to a Smile – Episode: Denzel,â€￾ a 25-minute original anime short film telling the story of the Denzel before the events of Advent Children, a "featurette" called “Reminiscence of Final Fantasy VII Compilation,â€￾ a storyline digest which incorporates related footage from the video games; “Legacy of Final Fantasy VII,â€￾ a new documentary featurette on the history of Final Fantasy VII; an exclusive first look at the Final Fantasy XIII video game, and more.
