The kids over at Joystiq are in Tokyo, hanging out at the TGS, and they've had the opportunity to see the super secret Final Fantasy XIII trailer. So, what's in it? Mostly, a lot of what you'd expect from Square's most popular series, but there was one interesting tidbit that made it stand out. At the end of the trailer, a title card reading "PS3 Only" made an appearance, squelching any idea that the series would be migrating to another console.
The visuals were, as always, stunning, and there were some new characters introduced. Not that there was any way to identify them or anything, but it's always nice to know that there is some new personnel coming your way, isn't it? There were also a few different environments, from ice to desert, which show that the game is going to be pretty complex. We can't wait to see the trailer ourselves, but given the top secret nature of the one shown at TGS, that might take a while
