Family Guy's Stewie will be appearing on another FOX series soon – and it's Bones.
EW.com's Michael Ausiello says the bizarre event will appear via hallucinations that Bones's Booth (David Boreanaz) has, in the midst of a life-threatening health crisis.
Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan wouldn't reveal the ailment that could cause such a thing, but does swear to Ausiello, "This is going to sound odd, but it is a completely believable event given Booth's condition. It's not just a fantasy of ours. There's medical research to back up what's going on with Booth. There are conditions where you can see cartoon characters."
Stewie will appear twice on Bones in May, starting with a scene where Booth is in a sperm donation room and sees the infamous member of the Griffin family. Nathan notes that Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane (who also voices Stewie) will have approval on all of the character's dialogue, remarking to Auisiello, "Whatever Seth wants to do is fine. As far as I'm concerned Stewie can sing!"
