Andriasang reports that Yoshinori Kitase, Final Fantasy XIII-2 Producer and Director, has told Japanese magazine Dengeki Playstation that there will be several pieces of DLC for the game every month.
Each update will contain multiple items, according to Kitase. He wouldn't be drawn on the price, but stressed the importance of setting a price point that consumers would find fair.
We already know that FFXIII-2's DLC will include extra weapons and costumes, as well as new enemies that you might have to defeat in order to use them. Rather than just downloading the item solus, DLC will be worked into the gameworld - you'll have to travel or complete a quest in order to play with your newly-purchased toy.
Despite the absence of a DLC strategy for the original FF13, Square-Enix appears to have turned around its policy for the sequel. But is downloadable content a good fit for the series?

I just hope it's good.
