Japanese blog Andriasang has reported on an interview in the ultra-popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu with Motomu Toriyama, in which Toriyama confirms that Final Fantasy XIII-2 is finished.
Toriyama, of course, is the director of Final Fantasy XIII-2. As a long-time Square-Enix employee, Toriyama came to the company in 1995 and has worked on games from Bahamut Lagoon and Final Fantasy VII to Dissidia Final Fantasy and The 3rd Birthday. And he confirms to Famitsu that the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XIII-2, set to be released on December 15th, is finished. Now, his team is working on altering the game for its release outside of Japan, and for the planned DLC that will be coming out for it.
Andriasang fleshes out some of the most interesting facets of the Toriyama's interview with Famitsu. For instance, Toriyama confirms that Final Fantasy XIII-2's main quest will take anywhere from 30 to 40 hours.
