Square Enix announced a new tabletop RPG starter set based on Final Fantasy XIV. People will be able to recreate their characters from the MMORPG, as well as step into the role of Game Master and create new adventures set in the world of Eorzea. The Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG starter set costs $59.99 and is now available for pre-order from the Square Enix online store. It will release in May 2024.

The Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG set includes a Player Book, Gamemaster Book, premade character sheets with the Warrior, White Mage, Dragoon, and Black Mage jobs, as well as a custom set of 16 dices (6d20 and 10d6).

Poor Fighter lol. Is your fighter a single weapon fighter? What's his main weapon?

No hint at all storywise lol? If you like your character to use bow you should try the ranger class, with colossus slayer and hunter's mark.

colossus slayer:
Once per turn, your weapon attack deals an extra 1d8 damage if the target is below its hit point maximum.

I plan on going sword, but again, too low level and my party has no healer in it.

Final Fantasy XIV Tabletop RPG looks like a fun RPG board game for Final Fantasy fans. The board game looks very well made. I like the look of the box art.

Evil DM! lol DM should be more considerate. In Baldur's Gate 3 potion is one time free action per turn.

Final Fantasy 14’s tabletop RPG hasn’t even been released yet, but it’s already being reprinted after selling out.

The Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG, based on the beloved (and critically acclaimed) MMO in the long-running series of video game RPGs, is still yet to be released after being revealed last autumn. Even so, it’s already proven popular enough that Final Fantasy maker Square Enix is planning a second printing of the tabletop RPG later this year.

That first run will arrive in May as planned, with a newly announced second printing now due to follow later this year
