After many years, Nintendo's online redeem program Club Nintendo is shutting down. It's final item, which is worth 2,000 stars is the Goodbye Coin as pictured above. The coin features Mario and Luigi waving a fond farewell along with the words "Thank You" in Japanese. The coin comes with a 50mm x 60mm velvet drawstring pouch for safekeeping with the coin being 40mm in diameter and 3mm thick and is plated in silver.
It is coming out only for Europe and Australia and most likely Japan and unknown for the states. A new membership program will be taking its place.
