Finding a Game's true ending

With some games, you need to do certain steps to find out it's best ending. Or may have to do more to get them true ending. Do you like games that does this? Or do you hate it?

Depends on the game. i hate doing it on Final Fantasy because I have to put like 400 hours to do it, but it is a fun game, so it's neutral. Kingdom Hearts is overall great, so i don't care how much time I have to put into it. Other games... Well, it depends on the genre. Sandbox, I like doing it, FPS, it's probably easy to do, so I don't mind, RPG, depends on the games, etc.

If I understood correctly... I like games with "open" endings, so there's no certain ending in it. it makes the game feel more whole for some reason. For example Pokemon..

Yeah I like branched endings. I played Knights of the Old Republic about 5 times to make sure I got all the possible endings. I played through all the endings of Deus Ex. To me, it gives the player choices, and adds to the replay value of the game. I really liked the ending of Fable, where I sat back thinking I'd won and didn't really realize you get a choice right at the end.
