One of the surprises from the FE Direct tonight, Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia for 3DS systems.
Based on Fire Emblem Gaiden released only in Japan in 1992. Shadows of Valentia promises to put a twist on traditional Fire Emblem combat with dungeons, free-roaming and flexible character progression.
The game is due to release on May 19th 2017.
