Fire Emblem Fates draws near and with it a bunch of DLC as well.
Completing chapter six in either version of Fire Emblem Fates Birthright or Conquest will unlock a new area on one's world map called Dragon's Gate which will act as the DLC hub. This is where players can purchase the already announced Revelation expansion, a discounted add-on of the other full campaign and Map Pack 1.
The Map Pack is $18 if you choose to pay up front. However, it won't include all of the DLC's 12 missions at launch. Each will be released between February 19th and April 21st. The prices will range from free to $4.49 at the high end for those who buy each DLC.
You can see the full list of levels on the game's website.
As with the previous game, Fire Emblem: Awakening, the maps appear to reintroduce characters from previous games to the world of Fates. Others, the "secret prologue" mission Hidden Truths, will likely expand on the game's existing story.
Anyone getting the DLC? This post will be updated with future DLC info.
