Wow, this is unexpected. I never expected Firefox, and Microsoft's Bing is teaming up to promote each other.

my homepage is my yahoo page, my default search engine is google.


Don't mess with that and I'm fine with the partnership.

Indeed, I think Microsoft is starting to realize that more people are switching to Firefox, and Chrome, so they decided to partner with Firefox, so people continue using Bing Search engine rather then the default Google Search Engine for the regular version of Firefox.

I wonder if there would also be a Bing Version of Google Chrome, and Opera Web browser in the future. But, a Google Chrome version of Bing seems unlikely since Google and Bing are competing for search traffic.

Indeed, but there also be a huge increase since Microsoft is now promoting Firefox on Bing, so the people who still use Internet Explorer might use Firefox instead of IE after Microsoft tells more of its users to try FF with Bing.
