First 12 Amiibo Figures

Amiibos were revealed back at E3 2014 and today we finally get to know the first batch we can get and for how much but sadly no release date yet and each one will cost a whooping $13 USD.

$13 is a bit high... But you can bet they'll be more expensive in other countries. (I foresee them selling for like $20 each in Canada.)

That Samus one at least looks cool. But still I really don't see the purpose of these other than to just be a desperate cash grab.

This is a copycat to the skylander series. You look into that? That whole video game set up is a rip off which badly used Spyro's name to get it off the ground.

I've seen them in stores, but never really looked at their price tags. 

I've also seen Disney x-finity (or whatever it's called) that's basically the same thing except with Disney characters.

But I agree that they're a rip off. A chance for Nintendo to try grabbing more money on something that likely is only going to be used for a very few select games.

This whole thing is geared towards kids who will beg and cry for their parents to buy them which they sadly do.
