It's a new month! It's a new forum! And new updates on the official GL board.
Welcome welcome welcome! All members to the first new monthly update on our nice brand new shiny forum! I hope you have been getting comfy and used to our new features, I'll be outlining a bunch of stuff below. So lets start off with.....
---- Our official name ----
So things haven't gone as plan with the renaming with our forum as I had hope. Oh well, shit happens in life right?
Hence forth we are Gaming Latest! Cutting edge of news and discussion of the latest video games.
Thanks to my recent photoshop class, I updated most of the images on the forum. I'll be working on improving them over the coming weeks.
---- Of the Month ----
Starting as of now, I'll be offering two of the month awards that members can get.
One being:
Member of the Month
and
Topic of the Month
MotM is pretty simple, be an active and engaging member of this forum and you will be displayed on our sidebar and win the rewards for being MotM.
TotM is where an original made topic (not copy and pasted) is voted on by other members to also be displayed on the side bar. This will also come with its own rewards.

Also, for the month of August I couldn't remember who should be it, so I choose myself

---- Money System ----
I'm proud to announce that a full working money system is apart of our forum experience and all money earned can be spent in our store which the link is located in the navi bar above or in the help index.
I'm looking for suggestions for our currency name and a bank/store name. If you have any suggestions please say them.
Please know that all items bought in the store will be redeem, so yes. You can turn our worthless forum money into actual gaming money. So posting here will yield great results for your gaming budget.

Do you see that word in our navi bar called Help Index? It's a link that leads to a very important GL page. The help index is an index page that can quickly lead you to helpful topics that will give you details or instructions on how to make sure of all our features here on Gaming Latest. It's my plan to get that updated this week and will make a future topic to better explain it.

As you may have noticed, I've been posting Gaming News in a better way here on the GL forum. I've been trying my best to make it original and very SEO friendly as possible to make it appear better on search engines. Kudos to
Marc for the info.
Doing it like this will make posting lots of gaming news harder, but I hope as the more members sign up, the more that will help with this.

Here is something to prove that all this revamp was not a waste:

Over all, our current site is matching our old site despite only being up for one month. Some unfortunate factors could be at play but I feel a more original name is helping us out. Did I also mention I have yet to do any advertising for this forum yet? Current results should boost once I do!

A Welcome addition to our forum is a media gallery, which is a vital thing in today's easy to capture screen shots and videos. Please be sure to share all your gaming moments on our media gallery!
I'll be using it myself to spread images related to gaming topics and news.
---- Social Sites ----
I'll leave this to
Martin for further details since he is in charge of our social sites (twitter, facebook and instagram with me on youtube), but just know that we plan on better management for our social status with Gaming Latest. You can find our links at the top or bottom of the board (facebook coming soon) and a topic asking you to join up in a little bit.

Don't forget about our arcade! I've finally gotten around to adding PacXon.

Well that's all for this update, I'll be back next month as always for the next update. I know things have been messy the last few weeks but now everything is settling down in time for TGS 2015. GL will of course bring you all the news there is and much more.
