alright, we got this bitch.
Apparently it was a PHP shell which affected unused .htaccess files. I've checked and the search engine links have been fixed.

It happened to my old forum actually. My host said it was malware but it wasn't. I found out who the hacker was and gave him a little of "my cup of tea" if you know what I mean. 
love to give the hackers a taste of reality as well, but sadly the trail grew cold by the time we sorted this out.
