Well, it looks like the game shown at the Nintendo Direct presentation to trial the Miiverse feature looks very much like a 'New Super Mario World':

I want this. I want this right now. I think Nintendo's got a winning game here, and if it comes out as a launch title it might just be the best game for a few years.
 
*insert terrible gimmicks here that make this game the worst thing ever, such as losing all power-ups between levels, Yoshi having a 5 second ride limit before exploding, and the final boss battle being non-existant*

Where did you get the blue Yoshi thing? All I see is the baby Yoshi.

I am assuming that those comments come from inside of Nintendo's staff (well duh!) so maybe they are trying to confuse us all or there is really a new suit coming up.

Or they're deliberately doing it to make them sound like they're new to games.

I bet when they film commercials for games the director is like: "OK, now instead of calling him Toad, just call him 'that little mushroom guy'"

New Super Mario Bros Wii was more a remake of Super Mario Bros 3.. Koopalings, similar levels, airships..
 
Anyone else noticed nut-like mushrooms on the world map? Does that mean...SQUIRRELS!

Its funny because they actually DID have a flying squirrel and a Blue Yoshi (among other baby Yoshis)
 
I see they went pretty nuts with the squirrel ideas, am I right?

Boy am I punny.

My lame jokes aside, I am liking the incorporation of baby Yoshis as pseudo power ups of sorts. One of the more interesting bits in my opinion.

So in the trailer they showed, what happened to Yoshi? Like he turned into a balloon and it was really awkward.
