Going off of Grocery Shopping, for those who don’t really care for it, the other option is Food Delivery Services. They may be called different things in your area like Shipt or DoorDash. Do you utilize them? How often? Is it just when you are not feeling well or do you do it for all your shopping needs?
I have never done it. We buy a lot of produce & like picking out our own.
Flipside, who has a job with a company to do shopping for others & deliver them? What do you like about it?
I don’t like shopping for myself so having a job to do this is not for me.
Previously Swans, and now Yello we've supported for years, but only get 3 or 4 things each trip. Food delivery other than that is too expensive and frankly, the most I've heard it being used is by streamers who have money or donations coming in. They expect a tip and they aren't paid well for even doing it.
Due to health issues I suffer from at the moment, I find it easier to use food delivery services, especially for my weekly food shop as it is difficult for me to always get the amount I buy home myself.
I guess the only downside I have about these delivery services is that I can't always choose the quality of the food I get, this is not always an issue as I feel the place I use is careful when choosing quality products but the other reason is also substitutes I get sometimes if they do not have an item in I want.
