Thank you. Your answer makes me relaxed. What are you trying to ask exactly?
You shouldn’t be too worried about having perfect grammar, and it would only be a problem if people don’t understand what you’re saying.
Even native English speakers don’t use perfect grammar, and some of the users on here are native English speakers, and they make common grammar mistakes. Common one I see is “should of” and “could of” instead of “should’ve” and “could’ve”.
So if native English speakers Jack up their own grammar, then you shouldn’t be worried.
A decent chunk of the users here are native speakers. A good but if us are American, judging from the spelling, a few Brits and Canadians sprinkled in.Thank you. Your answer makes me relaxed.
About what I asked, I think there were two problems.
Worried about the language problem but also curious of the other one, which about other members' native languages.
As the title.
There may be some grammar faults even I try my best.
Can this be acceptable?
I'm not sure if there is any discrimination, but I want to be a friend with you guys here with true heart.
And what's your native language?
I’ve never seen a forum do it, but more individuals. Though those individuals also had various other insufferable personality traits, so the grammar Nazi aspect added to the annoyance.Yet to find a forum that polices grammar. Also I speak (some) tamil, hindi and english.
A normal person shouldn’t be offended at someone’s grammar mistakes.Your responds make me relaxed and feel free!
I speak Chinese and can read some Japanese but weaker than English. The problem I worried is that some words I choose may be not inappropriate which makes people feel being offensed, though I didn't mean it.
