For the past several weeks, the Fortnite community has been buzzing with chatter about the meteor which seems to be getting closer and closer. From a crashed comet found underneath Tilted Towers to audible hints linking to a possible crash date, we have experienced it all.
Even after all of this, the devs have stayed completely silent, until now that is. In the game’s most recent update Epic Games has added in a few cosmetic changes which might hint at a possible crash date.
This includes everything from signboards to stargazing equipment which have been scattered throughout the rooftops of Tilted Towers. Anyone who has been tracking rumors linking to the comet’s arrival will find this very interesting;
There are three signboards of interest on the roof – one displaying a city which looks to be Tilted towers, the second showing a comet/meteor and the third featuring the word “Today” crossed out and replaced with “Tomorrow.”
