Google is the platform holder, so they have the right to take 30% for it.
It's what every other platform holder (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and Apple) do too after all.
On the other hand, unlike everyone else, Google only takes 30% for hosting the Google Play store and nothing more.
All while everyone else take 30% too, but they let their users know your game exists, they make sure the game works for consumers, they are actively watching over possible piracy, etc., all what Google does not do.
Meanwhile, this game is only lacking versions for Linux, (New) 3DS, and web browsers.
And also arcade and VR/AR, but I don't think they'll ever release on those.
