Forum Downtime (9/16)

Afternoon GF gamers, last night it was Friday the 13th for GF and it's hosting. The power supply went out and fried the MOBO and the RAID controller (this is a rare thing). Whats more is this happen as the server was doing it's daily back up, meaning that we've lost all data back to 2AM Sunday morning. So if you've made any posts yesterday, it's gone.

I'm sure your all pissed about this, but being Sunday is when I do a lot of posting on GF no one is more pissed than me at this time. :devil:

Again, I'm terribly sorry about all this but it's something out of my hands and in the hands of lady luck who hates all.

The hosting is still getting things in order but for the most part it's safe to post on here again. Sorry once more for the trouble and thanks for your understanding.

Don't worry DS. Nobody is blaming you . I feel basd because I did not know what was going on so I sent an email and like ten minutes later it was back up.

I suspected that the site went down because of a DDoS attack, but luckily it seems that I were wrong. It was unfortunate that we lost so much data, but it could be worse. I'm glad it works again.
