G4 and the Entertainment Software Association today announced a three-year deal naming the network the official broadcaster for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 Expo) through 2013. That means our team of gaming experts and on-air talent, including Adam Sessler, Morgan Webb, Kevin Pereira and Blair Herter, will bring viewers an unprecedented look inside the computer and video game industry’s biggest event with high caliber coverage of the most important names in video games. We're planning to own E3, people.
"As we have demonstrated in the last five years, G4 is the only outlet that provides comprehensive coverage of an outstanding quality that both entertains and informs for the entire three-day show," said Adam Sessler, host of X-Play and Editor-in-Chief of games content for G4. "With such reach, we can ensure that anyone who is unable to attend will feel like they are in the thick of the gaming madness from the comfort of their couch and with far less foot ache."
We pledge to take our responsibilities seriously, offering up over 24 hours of live coverage on-air, featuring interviews, news, demos and more, as well as live-streaming tons of content on G4tv.com. Basically, we'll be working around the clock to bring you deeper inside E3 than you have ever traveled, even if you're watching it from your living room.
E3 2011 goes down June 7-9, so set your calendars, bookmark our E3 2011 site, and put on your waiting shoes. We'll see you there.

this is great news, unless you have direct tv as a provider as the channel recently got dropped on that tv service.
