Editors at Game Developer magazine, the leading video game industry publication, have released the results of its seventh annual Game Developer Salary Survey, calculating an average American game industry salary in 2007 of $73,600, slightly up from 2006's figure of $73,316.

Yeah thats why when i get back from the army, i'm goong in for video game design, always been a dream for me, and i got the art and computer skills, so i'm ready for college.

Well you can changes that when your doing it. I want to sell my games, but that mean less people playing it, less feedback, and all my friends have to pay for it.
I wonder how is job security for the job since a lot of Sequal games I play tend to be not as good as the original or not much was improved, so fewer people will buy it.
