Editors at Game Developer magazine, the leading video game industry publication, have released the results of its seventh annual Game Developer Salary Survey, calculating an average American game industry salary in 2007 of $73,600, slightly up from 2006's figure of $73,316.

Yeah thats why when i get back from the army, i'm goong in for video game design, always been a dream for me, and i got the art and computer skills, so i'm ready for college.

I know, i already do concept art before i left for some companies and i was learning the basics of game design so i will return to that stuff.
Its fun too - you know when you play games and you think thats no good, it should be like this:....
Well you can changes that when your doing it. I want to sell my games, but that mean less people playing it, less feedback, and all my friends have to pay for it.
But then again, $$$.
Go luck with that Reaper. Behind the scenes stuff is always fun to get into with anything you like.

Cool, they make a decent salary.
I wonder how is job security for the job since a lot of Sequal games I play tend to be not as good as the original or not much was improved, so fewer people will buy it.
