Sega just announced it, read from gematsu:

Sega has announced Game Gear Micro, a miniature version of the handheld game console released in October 1990, in celebration of the company’s 60th anniversary.

Further details will be announced via the teaser website on June 3 at 13:00 JST

Maybe it would be possible to make a custom USB plug to make it possible to plug in a bigger controller to use it, and connect this console to a TV.

Hopefully, it would be possible to backup the game ROM files, and load them on a PC to play on an emulator program, and controller or keyboard.
