I think a lot of parents with kids who enjoy mobile games, or mobile gamers who don't have much money may subscribe to Gamepop service through their cable or internet subscription because Gamepop subscription cost $6.99 a month which is cheaper than buying many mobile games all at once.

Gamepop most likely be a few dollars cheaper as well if they bundle it with their current internet or TV services. It is usually cheaper to bundle your phone, TV, internet, and other services together from one company instead of subscribing to many companies, or not bundling your services together to save money.

it's not a bad idea, but with cable dying out this service may end before it starts.

Cable TV is still pretty popular with old people, and people who watch MTV, VH1, FOx, Food Network, and Spike where you need cable to watch them.
