It's a sad day in the gaming community as we have learned GamePro magazine will no longer be published. The November issues will be their last.
The reason for the closure stems from a loss in ad sales -- according to spokesperson, speaking to Industry Gamers, "The ad dollars just weren't there."
Back in July GamePro decided to refocus their efforts and they became a quarterly publication rather than a monthly one. This strategy wasn't enough to save the publication.
GamePro's website will go offline on December 5th. After that date GamePro.com will redirect to PCWorld.com.
GamePro has been in publication since May 1989. Now, they will be "refocusing its US business exclusively on its growing custom publishing and solutions business." This means GamePro will continue to exist as a custom content publisher for vendors.

Good thing I dropped them about a year ago, as I found gameinformer much better then them.
