At its E3 press luncheon today, Microsoft announced a new service called Games on Demand. Full retail games will be downloadable when the service goes live this August. Around 30 titles will initially be available, with new games added weekly. Microsoft featured Mass Effect, BioShock, Assassin's Creed , Crackdown, Oblivion, and Civilization Revolution for the service but did not provide release dates for any of the games.
