As the topic title Implies, this topic is to discuss, essentially, Games that should have been. Games that were great, but didn't get the fame or attention they deserved. It doesn't have to be made by Nintendo or a third party of Nintendo, it could be another company's. But they all make great games, so it doesn't really matter which company.

One of my lost games was Bucky O' hare for Nintendo Famicom (NES, I like to refer it in the Japanese name). Long story short, I emulated it. lol. But it was a very good game! It provided a challenge for me everywhere. The music was great and the gameplay, as simple as it was, was terrific. The level design was fantastic. 9.5/10. The only thing they should've done was make the game a wee bit longer, I felt it was kinda short. Otherwise, they did a great job. I can't believe not many people bought the game.

So what about you guys? Any lost/forgotten games that were terrific, but just didn't get what they deserved?

Mine are the underrated but well known games like Loz:MM and Sunshine. After All, SMS is practically my FAVORITE Mario game of all time.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap was pretty underated.

As for a game I heard rumored and wish existed is Metroid: Dread. Was supposed to be a sidescroller for the DS.

Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine, both were IMO awesome games and underrated especially LM when it first came out.

No More Heroes 1 and 2, both for the Wii, are pretty underrated. I find them to be brilliant games. Good story, awesome gameplay, relatable characters and has a very good sense of humour. Good games like the ones I mentioned and the other posters mentioned are overshadowed by the stuff they excrete out all year for "Hardcore Gamers." Gaming isn't really what it used to be, but I digress, if we like a game, we play it and have fun
