On their Kickstarter page at GameShell, Open Source Retro Gaming & STEM Portable Console , they are planning a version of the GameShell with hdmi, composite video, Mini-HDMI and Micro HDMI.

The Gameshell uses the Raspberry Pi mini-pc models like the Pi and Pi Zero W according to the picture from their Kickstarter page I previously posted above. Tge Raspberry Pi had HDMI and composite video ever since the first Raspberry Pi 1.

I think buyers are mainly buying the Gameshell for the operating system, emulator software, screen, and controller case.
